Occupational Therapist – West London College (Hammersmith)

Full-time | Term-time only | West London

About Us

We are a vibrant and inclusive West London college committed to helping young people and adult learners achieve their full potential. Our specialist support teams play a central role in ensuring every learner can access education in a way that works for them. We’re now looking for a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team based at our Hammersmith site, with occasional travel to our other campuses.

The Role

As our Occupational Therapist, you will:

  • Provide high‑quality, student‑centred occupational therapy to learners with a range of additional needs, including autism, physical disabilities, sensory needs, and developmental coordination challenges.

  • Carry out assessments and develop tailored intervention plans that support learners’ participation, independence, and wellbeing in the college environment.

  • Work closely with teaching staff, support workers, and external professionals to embed therapeutic strategies into everyday learning.

  • Contribute to EHCP reviews, reports, and multi‑agency meetings.

  • Deliver 1:1 and group interventions, as well as in‑class support where appropriate.

  • Offer training and guidance to staff to promote inclusive practice across the college.

About You

We’re looking for someone who brings:

  • A recognised Occupational Therapy qualification and HCPC registration.

  • Experience working with young people or adults in education, health, or community settings.

  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.

  • Confidence in delivering both direct therapy and environmental or curriculum‑based recommendations.

  • A flexible, proactive mindset and a genuine passion for supporting learners to thrive.

Why Join Us

  • A supportive, friendly, and forward‑thinking team.

  • Opportunities for CPD and professional growth.

  • A diverse student community where your work has real impact.

  • Convenient West London location near Hammersmith, with travel expenses covered for visits to other sites.

How to Apply

If you’re excited by the idea of shaping learners’ independence and helping them succeed, we’d love to hear from you.
